Adel Bhinder, DSSG Group CEO receives the “Champions of Change” award for his contribution to Social Welfare

Renowned entrepreneur, Adel Bhinder, DSSG Group CEO, has been graced with the prestigious “Champions of Change” Award 2020 by Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE), a non-profit recognised by the Government of India, for his exemplary contribution in promoting Gandhian values by serving the community and developing the society.

The award was presented by Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Honourable Governor of Maharashtra and Goa, at the Taj Resort and Convention Centre, Goa on 16 April 2021.

Adel is the Group CEO of Datar Security Service Group (DSSG), a privately-held manpower and security services company which also specialises in Toll Management service. The company offers expertise across a spectrum of directing security operations, implementing company policies, procedures, and strategic planning.

Adel as an individual has always believed that to win something, failure is needed as it is a part of the process. He deals with disappointment positively. His commitment has always remained strong while working towards gender equality in the Industry.

DSSG is widely known not only for training their women workforce for the physical job requirements, but also providing them with the technical education and training to improve their communication skills that leads to overall development.

At the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, Adel collaborated with iVillage, a social enterprise for women empowerment to procure and distribute face masks to the needy ones.

Not only this, DSSG had also set up a scholarship fund for students who do not have the means to complete their education online. The company, through the scholarship, provided necessary items like laptops to young girls so that their studies do not get hindered.

DSSG has always walked on the path of Gandhian principles and this has not only helped in bringing economic development to the society, but has also bridged the gap between social and gender inequality to create a better social system.
