DSSG HAS COLLABORATED WITH PUNBUS TO BRING THE BEST MANPOWER IN PUNJAB
Punjab Roadways came into existence in the year 1948 with a small fleet of 13 buses with the simple objective of providing economical and comfortable transport to people both within Punjab as well as those who used their buses to move in and out of the city. After seeing the growing demand Punjab Roadways replaced 534 buses between the years 1997–1999 through PUNBUS. This collaboration came as a surprise to PUNBUS as they were strictly formed for the maintenance of bus stands.
After taking notice of its exceptional bus services PUNBUS made a change to its objectives that included construction/renovation and maintenance of bus stands as well as operation of all commercial vehicles throughout India on permissible routes. Today PUNBUS is not only operating economical and comfortable bus rides within the country but equipping them with state-of-the-art passenger information systems, electronic ticketing machines as well as integrating them in an online reservation system for quick bookings with the help of the central government.
DSSG too began its journey in a similar fashion ever since getting its first client Engineers India Limited (EIL) who helped them set the benchmark for the kind of services they will provide. After seeing Col. P.S. Bhinder’s proven track record as an exceptional serviceman he incorporated DSSG with the offices of Directorate General Resettlement to begin this great and noble venture.
From our first client who we provided with 108 security guards to assist them with their day to day operations, DSSG has diversified its business across different industries like agriculture, construction, transport, education, healthcare, and energy industry. We are now a family of over 6000 skilled security personnel and are present in over 20 locations. Our success should be attributed to our hardworking employees who ensure that they are always up for the task and operate with full transparency and professionalism.

When PUNBUS supplied Punjab Roadways with its first fleet of buses it not only raised the standard of the bus service provided but made significant improvements in the bus sector of Punjab Roadways. They have installed CCTV cameras in 11 bus depots and GPS vehicle tracking systems in over 435 buses since the year 2011–12. Moreover, they are solely responsible for installing 32 automated driving test tracks in the state which will ensure only able drivers get their license. Other additions have been seat reservations in buses for women passengers as well as three training centers for commercial drivers.
DSSG is proud to enter into an agreement with PUNBUS wherein we are providing 1022 conductors and 1094 drivers. We are pleased to provide PUNBUS with our trained manpower who are well aware of their conduct and the responsibilities required to perform this role well.
