DSSG’s Good COVID-19 Report
Throughout the Corona-virus Crisis, DSSG has shown why it is a key player in the security industry
Datar Security Service Group like other businesses has felt the impact of COVID-19 that has brought the economy to a standstill. The pandemic has already affected millions of people in India and although the recovery rate has improved many political leaders including our respected Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi has urged people to not get complacent.
Everyone has been asked to strictly maintain social distancing and wash hands with soap and water regularly in order to minimize the risk against this infectious disease. People have also been urged to wear a face mask at all times as well as keep portable hand sanitizers with them so that they can immediately kill any germs they might have picked from a surface or a person they came in contact with.
In addition to keeping industries alive, multinationals and large local firms are both helping the government to stem the spread of this COVID-19 pandemic and its significant effects on the country’s economic activities. DSSG is also doing its bit to help the country overcome this tough period by ensuring that all its team members are complying with the COVID-19 safety guidelines.
We at DSSG want to focus on safeguarding our key resources which are our staff including our large manpower of security personnel. We have provided all the security personnel with proper safety tools like face masks and sanitizers so that they can take the required precautions against the disease. Moreover, we have included protective measures against COVID-19 in our training modules like keeping a safe distance between people, avoiding touching hands, mouth, and nose, throwing used tissues in dustbins as well as not gathering in crowds.
By reinstatement of these measures, we have ensured that our security personnel is not only meeting their previous obligations of performing routine security checks, patrolling the premises, monitoring access to the building, checking alarm and surveillance systems as well as acting fast in case of an emergency but keeping an eye out for people who are not conforming to the COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Serving the society with DSSG’s security solutions
DSSG has also served the society with its security solutions in this time of need as it’s personnel were stationed at Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital wherein free screenings for COVID-19 were carried out as well as Ambedkar Nagar hospital, a dedicated COVID-19 treatment facility with 200 exclusive beds for Coronavirus patients. Our personnel was responsible for reminding patients to maintain social distancing as well as take other precautions like wearing masks and using hand sanitizer.
During the crisis, we saw a spike in the number of criminal activities which was why our security agents were more alert than ever while serving valuable clients like Canara Bank ATMs, National Book Trust of India as well as the Education department of South East Delhi.
Fulfilling DSSG’s Corporate Social Responsibility
DSSG has also built a network through which it is conducting valuable CSR projects which is the least it can do in these testing times. Our Group CEO Adel Singh distributed reusable and washable face masks made by iVillage, an NGO that brings the skills of the rural class to the forefront along with some other basic necessities to the needy.
Adel Singh believes that it is DSSG’s civic duty to help the ones in need which is why all our concentration and efforts so far are on helping the ones most impacted by this crisis. Meanwhile, we would also like to praise the government, private sector, civil society, and citizens who are doing commendable work in assisting our COVID-19 fighters as they went above and beyond their field of duty during this public health emergency.
